I’m 1000 miles from what was my home with nowhere to go but anywhere I want. I made the decision today to leave the Trek and find my own way to New York. I made some amazing friendships traveling with the group, and I still want to continue learning about sustainability. Today we awoke in Dixon MT cold and a little wet from the morning dew (typical morning for us). Since entering Montana I have adopted the habit of sleeping out under the stars. I wake up in the middle of the night and gaze into an endless sea of distant stars that cradle a crescent moon who spills her silver light onto my dreams. Read the rest of this entry »
